Commander Roger Bryant is a Vietnam Veteran and the head of The Centennial Post 2019. He is a native of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, where he also spent his youth. In later years, he migrated to Pike Road, Alabama, where he assumed command of The American Legion post.
In 2017, Commander Roger Bryant received the Presidents Volunteer Service Award. Farming was instilled in him from a young age, since he came from a long line of family of farmers from Georgia and Florida. He has been farming for over 57 years.
Along with his time in the service and farming, Commander Bryant has a Doctorate of Divinity in Ministry. He also received a Certificate of Safety from Cornell University that allows him train and certify other farmers. The commander is a well-respected farmer and teacher of the youth in the area. He will be leading the effort to manage the technical aspects for the Harvest Tyme Food Ministries Self Sustaining ADA Compliant Live-Work-Play Communities.
